Under the theme&nbsp;<em>\u201cMade in Africa: Shaping Industries, Shaping Futures,\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;the festival presented its most ambitious programme to date, uniting designers, brands, policymakers, and the public in a city-wide celebration of African creativity.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<div class=\"block-wrapper block-wrapper--paragraph\"><div class=\"container container--narrow\">\n<p>Founded by&nbsp;<strong>Titi Ogufere<\/strong>, CEO of Essential Media Group, DWL has grown since its 2019 debut into a global platform spotlighting African design excellence. Its influence extends beyond the festival \u2014 from the&nbsp;<em>Made by Design<\/em>&nbsp;documentary series on Netflix to a steady flow of international collaborations.
